New website!

In other news, I have just launched a new website for my activites as a writer - with some exciting news to kick things off! I have been working for awhile now in parallel with my illustration work at becoming an author, and there so I will be posting news about this over at my new site: garyvennwriter.com.

SpecFic Anthology 2022 - Illustration

I have an illustration featured in the current issue of SpecFic Anthology which has just been released. The anthology is titled: Aftermath: Tales of Survival in Aotearoa, and features a host of stories and art from NZ based creators. Check out SpecFicNZ here if you are interested! It is an anthology of post-disaster related speculative fiction and art, I am pleased to be included. I will post a preview of my contribution soon.

New illustration for The Spinoff...

Wow the year is going by very fast already! Today's Sunday Essay at the Spinoff features a new illustration of mine, great fun to be able to do one in a medieval woodcut style. Big thanks to Toby Morris at the Spinoff.
